Privacy policy
Bloodline is a blood donation initiative of Bangladesh Thalassaemia Foundation (BTF). This policy covers the Bloodline website at bloodline.com.bd and the Bloodline sign-in service at id.bloodline.com.bd. BTF is responsible for the personal information described here.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google or Facebook: your name, email address, profile picture and the account identifier that Google or Facebook gives us. We do not receive your Google or Facebook password.
- What you give us: details you enter yourself, such as a phone number or donor information.
- Technical records: IP address, browser type and the time of each request, kept in server logs to run and protect the service.
How we use it
- To create your account, sign you in and keep the account secure.
- To contact you about your account and the blood donation activities you take part in.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the information we receive from Google or Facebook for advertising.
Who we share it with
Google and Meta (Facebook) act as sign-in providers when you choose to use them. Our servers are operated by BTF. We disclose information to others only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account exists. When you ask us to delete it, we delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep a record. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. See how to delete your data.
Children
The sign-in service is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
